What a week this first week of February has been!
This week we explored the moodboard via an Inspired theme. We wanted to show you layouts and projects that were more art inspired, inspired off of the moodboard, some new techniques, and to bring you plenty of new ideas.
While the weather here in Wisconsin has been cold and snowy, we all have found inspiration and warmth in this month's moodboard.
This month we are asking the Garden Girls to work within the theme of "Me". We want to see layouts and projects that are representative of the girls themselves.
Jen Kinkade shows us how she is using her focus word of 2014 "Simplify". She also teaches us a few of the easy watercolor techniques found in her layout.
Wilna Furstenberg & Celine Navarro pull warm pinks and reds from the moodboard. They also each use lots of fun pieces from Amy Tangerine's new Plus One line, to create layouts that are simply LOVE-ly.
Glitter Girl (Shmielle Laine) was inspired to create a monochromatic and chalkboard themed layout! In her adventure she remembers to step in front of the camera, and actually catch a shot of herself in a group photo!
Lisa Dickinson shares with us 10 things that she is loving RIGHT NOW! Lisa also shares with us a few simple watercolor techniques (we just love all of the use of watercolor this week!).
Jen Gallacher uses this week's "Make it Meaningful" video to create a layout that is very much all about HER! She shows us fun ways to use embellisments to make a page that not only pops, but is incredibly dynamic!
We were lucky enough to not only bring you two beautifully inspired layouts, but a wonderul project as well.
Amy Tan creates a CHA inspired project life spread, while Mel Blackburn uses some of this month's new cut files (from fellow Garden Girl Lisa Dickinson) in her all about me layout. Laura Craigie then uses some of the new Two Peas exclusive printables to create cards and inspires us to make our own Valentines!
We hope that you found this week as inspiring as we did.
Be sure to check back on the blog each day this week for all of the fun Valentine happenings around the office!
