Today's Moments video brought to you by Laura Craigie:
Hey guys! I'm excited to be here with my first video in the Moments Series.
I chose to scrapbook Picture Day, since it is definitely one of the moments that only come once a year, and is the picture that defines kids for an entire year on the fridge of relatives everywhere, right? ;)
Because I only had one image to go on this page I thought it would be a fun idea to have him draw a little self portrait to go with it. I love giving my kids the Grid/Ledger project life cards to doodle on. Then I can include them in my PL pages, or on regular pages like this, and they are just a little nicer looking than plain old paper.
For my papers I used some October Afternoon Milk Money, and paired that with the soft polka dot paper from Paper Crate's Valentines line.
I wanted this page to be a bit bold, and silly to match his school age personality and I decided using puffy stickers throughout the layout would add to that concept perfectly. I just adore these stickers and am so thankful they are being made by all sorts of manufacturers now!
I hope you enjoy the video and let me know what you think!
Ps. I had filmed it planning on live talking which is why my hands are all over the place, but forgot my space heater was running and it ruined the audio, so I had to do a voice over. My apologies for all the talking with my hands ;)
Thanks for watching :)
