Welcome to the very FIRST “Make It Meaningful” weekly video! I'm so excited to share my ideas for making your moments and memories more meaningful both on and off the page. Be sure to watch the video as it tells a little bit more about the goal for this series and how making this layout and project were meaningful to me.
This week I'm making a family crest. Years ago, my family made a family crest for one of our Monday night Family Home Evenings. We discussed some virtues that were important to our family and then created a crest with those items, which we then hung on our wall for months. I no longer have that crest (I wish I did). So I created my own for my family here.
Be sure to scroll through all the photos so you can see both the virtues that are important to my family, as well as, view how this family crest could be displayed in your home.
Challenge: Sit down with your family and discuss the virtues or activities that are most meaningful to you. Then use your scrapbooking supplies to create a family crest of your own. You can also do this for yourself as a kind of visual goal chart to remind you of what you stand for. Be sure to upload your project (a layout or hanging family crest) to the correct challenge gallery by next Friday so you will be included in the drawing for a special prize. I can't wait to see how this project inspires YOU!
