Holidays and the winter season are what we're scrapping about in the Garden this month. Today Michelle De Leon is sharing more with us!
What is a favorite photo of yours from the holiday or winter season? Why do you love it?
I love this photo from Christmas Day last year. My boyfriend Billy took a quick shot of me reorganizing the presents for my parents to open. When I was younger, one of my favorite holiday routines was organize all of the presents into corresponding piles for everyone to open. I'd rearrange the boxes over and over all the way up to Christmas Day, and my family knew it was my "thing". I love that Billy managed to take a quick snapshot that captured my excitement of reliving one of my favorite childhood routines.

I love using up little bits and pieces in my stash to dress up gift wrap! Last Christmas was my first as a scrapbooker, and I had fun decorating some gifts. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out some gold foil to create the customized message on the box. For the other box, I used some twine and different vellum elements as a topper (the box was a bit irregular, which is why the wrapping isn't very smooth!). Here are a few other ways I've incorporated scrapbook supplies into gift wrap for non-holiday events.
What are some favorite holiday or winter layouts or projects you've done in the past? Why do you love them? I really enjoy creating holiday layouts and mini books. With the extra time off, I find that it's easier to remember to take photos and events, and I love documenting them afterwards. Here are a few of my favourite holiday projects I've created:
