Our theme in the Garden this month is All About Me. We've asked the Garden Girls to share a little more on this topic. Here is Céline Navarro!
How do you make sure to get yourself in a photo? What is a recent favorite photo that includes you? Arm-length photography (you need to have the right lense for that, though) or using cellphones are just the best to get yourself in the photos! Selfies are very trendy at the moment and, really, it's awesome to be able to tell our family story, but what about ours? We deserve a little bit of time to take photos of ourselves! How awesome would it be to treat ourselves with a private photoshoot? Ask a friend who knows how to use a camera or look for a professionnal photographer in your city, and treat yourself with a photoshoot! You'll be delighted and surprised how beautiful you are :) In and Out :)
Do you struggle with scrapbooking about yourself? If so, how do you overcome it? Not really, I've always scrapbooked about myself : one thing is because I don't have kids. But what I've been slowly discovering is more journaling and more storytelling. And that is hard. Photos aren't a problem to me, but words can be so...tough to choose :)
What products feel like "you" that you reach for when scrapping yourself? Paints, mists, papers and stamps for sure!
How have you scrapbooked yourself in the past? I've always shared the happy stuff in my life. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, but I have that need to talk more about my inner me, what's good and bad, the things that makes me struggle. Words are hard to find but I'm getting there :)
