It's that time of year again: time to put on a cozy, knit sweater; time to think about cranking up the heat; time for autumn leaves, pumpkin pie and so much more. As soon as my kids head back to school, I'm ready to start decorating my house for the fall. Looking for inspiration, I've been searching for Fall or Autumn Home Decor ideas on Pinterest. I've been busily pinning all the things I've found to our 2Peas Fall Inspiration board HERE. Here's a little peek at some of the items that are inspiring me:
Pinterest isn't my only source of inspiration. I visit the 2Peas gallery every morning to see what people have been creating. I'm always impressed at the creativity of others using their scrapbooking and paper crafting materials. Here are a few items that caught my eye:
Create a Frame:
Take a picture frame and use your leftover fall or autumn patterned paper and embellishments to create a frame, like this designer HERE!
Die Cut Leaves for a Wreath:
Use your digital or manual die cut machine to cut leaves from autumn and fall patterned papers. Then attach them to a grapevine wreath, like Wendy Sue Anderson did HERE!
Create Treat Bags for Neighbors and Friends:
I love the look of these treat bags HERE that could easily be created with fall flowers, leaves, and autumn stamps. Decorate your home with them and then deliver them before the season is over.
You can search for additional inspiration in the 2Peas gallery by searching the gallery with words like "fall" or "autumn." Be sure to check the "Altered Projects" gallery for many of these designs. There are so many projects to be inspired by from fabulous designers from all over the world.
Are you busily creating something fun to display in your home for the fall/autumnal season? We'd love to see it. Make sure when you upload it to the 2Peas gallery, you mark the seasonal box in the tags section so others can easily find it. We know we're going to be inspired!
