Craftroom storage with Janna Werner.

Hello everyone, this is Janna with a short tour through my craft space. Today I´d like to show you a few of my storage solutions. As I prefer to be able to see all my craft supplies, I have only one big commode in my room. It has 8 drawers and stores the things I do not use regularly plus replenishments.

Most of the boxes in my room are made of transparent plastic or wood. I just need to see which supplies I have, otherwise I will forget about them. For a pop of color I have three colored fabric boxes that store my Crate Paper embellishments, alphabets (especially thickers).

The scrapbooking papers are stored in transparent shelves, right to one of the two tables in my room. Tools, like scissors, glue, ink are stored in the transparent boxes on the right side. The punches are in wooden boxes - I do not have that many so I know which shapes/borders I have and do not need to see them. The sprays I like most are on the right to the craft table. So, all the supplies that I like to use often are within my reach (I really do not like searching for things while crafting).

I got another embellishment basket close to the crafting table. It stores newer products, like these ones from Studio Calico, Crate Paper and Amy Tangerine.

Maybe you know that one of my scrapbooking addictions is Washi Tape :) They are not only perfect for crafty projects, but also as decoration. I put them in glasses which stand on the windowsill in my room. This looks absolutely beautiful, especially when the sun is shining.

I'm with you. I need to see everything I have or I forget what I have. I think it's the scrapbookers curse. Great idea with the thickers. I've been trying to figure out what to do with mine so that I remember to use them. I'm going to go look and see what I can find similar to put on my crafting table.
