My name: Paige Evans
About me: I've been scrapbooking since I was 16 years old (12 years ago now) when I got my very first job at a local scrapbooking store in Redmond, WA called Yesterdays. Sometimes I think about what my life would be like now if I hadn't walked in and asked for an application (which they didn't have, they just took my phone number!) because so much of my life has revolved around scrapbooking since then. I work from home for Northridge Publishing (the makers of Scrapbook Trends/CARDS/Simply Handmade/Create: Series/Signature Series/Cricut Magazine) and for American Crafts as the Blog Hostess/Design Team Coordinator. I love to create on a daily basis and enjoy dabbling in everything from fine arts (painting, drawing, sculpting, printmaking, etc.), to bookbinding, basketweaving, photography, graphic design, and more!
About my family: I've been married to my better half, Chris, for five years. He's in his fourth and final (yay!) year at USC School of Dentistry class of 2013, and he's a Lieutenant in the Army Reserves. Once he graduates in May we'll go wherever the Army tells us to go for 4 years - we're still waiting to find out where! We have a handsome son named Fox (2) and a sweet baby girl named Jane (5 months). They bring so much joy to our lives and they are the stars of my scrapbooking pages.
About my style: I LOVE patterned paper, fussy cutting, and paper piecing. And most of the time you'll see bits of sewing on my pages.
My top 5 papercrafting essentials: Patterned paper, spray mist, sewing machine, buttons, jewels.
On any given day you might find me: living life to the fullest and not wasting a single second!
