Hi Peas!! It’s Amy Heller here with you today putting a spotlight on a Pea who’s work always catches my eye. Her Pea name is agnieszka-piskorz. She has such an artistic, funky style, but one that always is well designed and thought out.
I am personally really attracted to projects that show scrappers sticking their necks out as artists and achieving great design in the process. It’s not an easy task, and one that I admire a great deal. Agnieszka (also known as Mirabelle), does just that. Her design is bold, colorful, artistic and with TONS of energy, and is always captivating in the way she places every last bit of product/medium.
I decided to do a Q& A interview with Agnieszka about scrapbooking and all the things she loves about Two Peas in a Bucket. I loved getting to know her a bit more and hope you enjoy it as well! :D
Q (Amy) Do you have a blog? If so, are you on any design teams?
A (Agnieszka) So I have a blog http://scrapbooking-mirabeel.blogspot.de/
Since 2010 I'm in DT BoBunny.
Q (Amy) What got you started in scrapbooking and how long have you been doing it?
A (Agnieszka) Scrapbooking is my passion since 2006. One day I found a photography forum and loved digital scrapbooking. After several months I wanted to do first a paper mini album. Currently I (only) occasionally do digital layouts.
Q (Amy) What are your favorite products to use?
A (Agnieszka) I love colors and contrasts. I love to use stickers, chipboards and rub-ons.
Q (Amy) What are your favorite brands to work with?
A (Agnieszka) In the first place BoBunny then Echo Park Papers, My Minds Eye, Crate Paper, October Afternoon, Studio Calico, Prima and many others.
Q (Amy) How would you describe your style?
A (Agnieszka) I do not know if I can describe my style. I'm sure it would be layered. Sometimes I create a romantic, sometimes clean & simple. I love experimenting with paper and accessories, cutting, composing, etc.
Q (Amy) Where do you find inspiration besides the Two Peas in A Bucket galleries?
A (Agnieszka) My biggest inspiration are my children - my daughter Alicja and son Bartek. I also draw inspiration from the world around me.
Q (Amy) What is your favorite thing about Two Peas in A Bucket?
A (Agnieszka) I love the gallery. I spend long hours looking at all the great work.
Q (Amy) What are 5 products in the Two Peas in a Bucket shop right now that are on your "wish" list, or something you plan on purchasing in the future?
